TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When using Securidex, you agree to the following terms and conditions: You agree to present yourself truthfully in your application on any Securidex site. You agree, always, to deal with any information or products provided by Securidex in a manner which abides by all applicable laws of South Africa. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Securidex and its associates exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage).

You agree to keep Securidex and its associates fully indemnified against any actual or contingent liabilities incurred concerning any actions or claims brought by any person against Securidex as a result of an actual or alleged breach by you of any law, or such other actions or claims brought in relation to the provision of services by Securidex to you. This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.

You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of South Africa and waive any objection to legal action being brought in those Courts on the grounds of venue or inconvenient forum. You agree not to use the Securidex infrastructure or technology to market any service to Securidex.

Securidex and the undersigned business partner (hereinafter referred to as "customer") agree to fulfil the performance of their contract according to these terms and conditions and the price list. Securidex terms and conditions, together with the additional terms and the price list, contain the whole agreement between Securidex and the customer.

Any terms and conditions of the customer do not apply unless Securidex explicitly consents to them in writing. The version of Securidex's terms and conditions in force at the time of the last concluded contract with the customer shall apply to the relationship between Securidex and the customer.

No refunds are permitted.

The client has the right to cancel their subscription after 30 days' notice has been given to Securidex, and as stated above, no refunds will be provided. The terms of service contract reserve the right for Securidex to use customer data for trend analysis and surveys; results shall be published anonymously.

Securidex cannot guarantee that you will be employed, but it does give you a higher chance of employment in the Private Security Industry. Securidex reserves the right to demand payment in advance. If payment is made from abroad, payment by bank transfer from abroad will only be accepted if all bank fees and expenses are paid by the customer.

The terms of service contract reserve the right for Securidex to use customer data for trend analysis and surveys; results shall be published anonymously. Your account will be activated once proof of payment has been received and verified. Payment includes all additional costs such as e-mails, telephone calls, fax, which are usually incurred. The cost of corrections and alterations that have occurred as a result of the customer supplying incorrect data are not included.

Securidex will inform the customer via email if the additional costs exceed the average amount in relation to individual orders. The customer is obliged to pay Securidex for these additional costs if they have consented to the corrections and alterations and costs. Prospective employers will only be able to view your personal information once you have accepted their invitation; however, they are able to view your CV for recruitment purposes. You agree to allow Securidex to contact you for marketing and research.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may be required to disclose information to the government or other third parties, and if Securidex becomes part of another organization, that organization will possess the personal information collected by Securidex and assume the rights and obligations regarding your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We provide or make your personal information available to:

  • Parties where we are required to provide your personal information to comply with the law or protect our platform.
  • Other parties that provide content, advertising services, or functionality on our platform, including advertising providers that help us and our advertising customers provide advertisements tailored to users' interests and understand how users respond to these advertisements, audience-measurement companies that help us measure the overall usage of our platform and compare that usage with other online services, and social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram that enable you to register for and log into some of our services and share things you find on our platform with your social network. These third parties may collect or receive information about your use of our platform, including through the use of cookies, web beacons, and other technologies, and this information may be collected over time and combined with information collected on various websites and online services. We do not control the privacy practices of these or any other third-party services and advise you to read the privacy policies of these services before connecting to them.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

To help protect the confidentiality of your personal information, Securidex employs security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Nevertheless, security and privacy risks cannot be removed completely, and Securidex cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may amend this policy at any time, and we will notify you of the update in the appropriate manner.

BROWSING INFORMATION

When you use the Securidex site, our servers may collect information indirectly and automatically about your activities while visiting the site, including the web pages you view and the times you view them and information about the browser you are using. We use this browsing information to personalize aspects of your employment search experience, for system administration purposes and to improve the Website.
